How Long Does
Treatment Last?
Each patient we care for follows a personalized path, which makes answering this question challenging. However, based on our experience and the success stories we’ve achieved, we can provide the following general information:
Safe Space (1 month)
Objective: To provide a safe environment for patients during the initial detoxification stage, ensuring that they feel protected and comfortable as their body and mind begin to break free from physical dependence on substances.
This stage achieves detoxification, which can be physically and emotionally challenging. A safe environment helps mitigate stress and discomfort during this process, facilitating a smoother transition into the next phases of treatment.
Treatment (1 to 3 months)
Objective: To implement a personalized psychological treatment plan tailored to each patient’s specific needs. This time focuses on intensive therapeutic work, addressing the underlying causes of addiction and developing life skills and coping strategies.
This phase is crucial for the patient to develop new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving, replacing destructive patterns with healthier and more sustainable approaches.
Halfway House (1 to 2 months)
Objective: To offer patients the option to move into a halfway house phase, where they can gradually reintegrate into society while still receiving support. This transitional period is vital to ensure that patients are prepared to face life outside the treatment center.
It serves as a true safety net, allowing patients to test their ability to apply the tools and skills they’ve learned, which is essential for preventing relapse and facilitating a successful reintegration into society.
These estimates are based on our statistics, and the only way to provide a total duration estimate is through an initial assessment and considering each patient’s progress and commitment.
